this was our first time to quince, and we had a wonderful experience. food was delicious and the service provided was both excellent and entertaining! quince is a restaurant by chef michael tusk and has been in san francisco since 2003. the establishment has received increasing accolades over the years with a michelin star awarded in 2007 and a second michelin star in 2014.
we decided to celebrate my birthday here and was pleasantly surprised to find a personalized menu to startcanape
freshly dug potato, oyster, chive, brown butter – the green leaf (oyster plant) was quite surprising with a very briney oyster-like flavor!
dinner was very focused on the ingredients from the quince farm, fresh micro potatoes were the most recent harvest for the evening
